I provide a range of psychological services, including individual therapy for anxiety, self-esteem issues, emotional regulation, and personal growth. Additionally, I offer child and adolescent psychology services, behavioral therapy for autism, support for expats adjusting to new environments, and workshops and psychological assessments.

How can I book an appointment?

You can book a free intake session through the "Book an appointment" section on my website. Alternatively, you can contact me via email at vf.psychology@gmail.com.

Do you offer online therapy sessions?

Yes, I offer online therapy sessions to ensure accessibility for clients who cannot attend in-person sessions or prefer remote consultations.

What can I expect during the first session?

The initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss your current challenges, goals for therapy, and any questions you might have. This helps in tailoring a personalized approach to your therapy journey.

How long does each therapy session last?

Typically, each therapy session lasts about 45 minutes. However, the duration can be adjusted based on individual needs and treatment plans.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on individual goals and challenges. Some clients find resolution in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. We'll regularly review your progress to ensure your needs are being met.

Yes! As an experienced psychologist working with the expat community, I understand the unique challenges of adjusting to life in a new country. I provide a safe and supportive space to explore issues related to cultural adaptation, loneliness, and identity.

How do I get started?

Getting started is easy! You can book a free intake session through my website, send me an email at vf.psychology@gmail.com. Iā€™d be happy to answer any questions and help you begin your journey toward mental well-being.

What are your fees?

Because therapy is a personal and individualized process, I prefer to discuss the tariff during our free intake session. This allows us to explore your situation, the type of support you need, and the best approach for your therapy, ensuring that the pricing is fair and transparent for your specific case. For detailed information about fees please contact me directly at vf.psychology@gmail.com or book an free intake where I can answer all your questions..

Do you accept insurance?

I am a private psychologist and do not work with insurance companies in the Netherlands. The mental healthcare system is currently overwhelmed, with long waiting lists for insured care. By offering private therapy, I can guarantee immediate availability, so you can receive the support you need without unnecessary delays.

My fees are accessible, and some families may be able to finance their sessions through the Personal Budget (PGB) provided by the municipality.

What is the PGB and how does it work?

The PGB (Persoonsgebonden Budget) is a subsidy that allows individuals with specific care needs to hire professionals of their choice, rather than relying solely on public healthcare services. If you meet the requirements, you can apply for this budget through your municipality and use it to cover the cost of therapy sessions.
